This free printable emergent reader book, "My Thankful Book", is a great way to practice gratitude around Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Kids can read, trace and color while talking about all the things they are thankful for!

This FREE Thanksgiving emergent reader book includes the following sight words: I, am, for, my. There are also decodable words that kids can trace and pictures to color.
I am thankful for my family.
I am thankful for my friends.
I am thankful for my home.
I am thankful for my pets.
I am thankful for my toys.
I am thankful for food.
I am thankful for __________.
The last page includes blank lines for children to write their own ideas about what they are thankful for, as well as draw their own picture.
Directions for Creating the book:
- Print all sheets.
- Cut sheets in half along the middle line
- Put pages in the order you would like
- Use staples, clips or string to bind the book on the left side
