Ice Cream Shape Matching

As summer approaches, it's time to get excited about ice cream! There are so many learning activities you can do with ice cream, and today I'm sharing a shape matching activity perfect for toddlers and preschoolers!

FREE Ice Cream themed shape matching activity for toddlers and preschoolers. Great file folder game or cut & paste activity for Summer learning!
This post contains affiliate links for your convenience.

Included in this free printable activity are 2 versions - one containing 6 shapes and another containing 8 shapes. You can choose whichever one is right for your child's age and skill level.

How to Use the Ice Cream Shape Matching Activity

  • Choose the version that fits your child's level (6 shapes or 8 shapes)
  • Print the 2 pages in the file
  • If using as a file folder game, laminate both pages for durability. Then cut out the shapes on the second page and attach velcro dots to the back of them as well as to the shapes on the ice cream cones.
  • If using as a cut & paste activity, give your child scissors and glue and they can cut the shapes from the second page and glue them onto the ice cream cones.
